Get ready for learning about hygiene but in a fun yet engaging way! "Brush It Off" is a fun and engaging game developed by a team of three game designers for a college assignment. We've transformed everyday cleanliness into an exciting adventure, where kids learn important hygiene habits through lively characters and interactive challenges. It was also made sure that the game art was colorful yet captivating for young audience, which we think was captured in a great way by myself and my co game art partner.
Synopsis:
Get ready to embark on a squeaky-clean adventure in "Brush It Off"! This child-friendly educational game, lovingly crafted by a team of game designers, will teach young kids all about the superpowers of hygiene. Dive into a vibrant and interactive world where exciting gameplay mechanics and lively levels await. With a dash of playful magic and kid friendly visuals, it will make learning about cleanliness an absolute blast! So join us on this wild ride, where kids can become a hygiene champion and have a blast brushing away the icky stuff. Get ready to sparkle and shine in "Brush It Off"!
Gameplay:
The player needs to brush the teeth for 30 seconds and kill as many germs as it can, while brushing the teeth white.
Depending on the results the tooth fairy will appear to congratulate, or let you know that you have failed and ask if you would like to try again.

Engagement is key: Designing a game that captures and maintains the attention of young players is crucial. By infusing the gameplay with excitement, humor, and interactive elements, we ensured that children remained engaged throughout their hygiene learning journey, in this case/level it was brushing.
Balancing education and entertainment: Finding the right balance between educational content and entertaining gameplay was essential. We strived to deliver brushing hygiene lesson in a fun and enjoyable way, so that kids would willingly participate and absorb the knowledge without feeling overwhelmed or bored.
Tailoring content for the target audience: Understanding the needs, interests, and capabilities of our young players was essential in crafting appropriate content. By aligning the game's visuals, mechanics, and challenges with the preferences and abilities of our target audience, we created an immersive experience that resonated with them.
Iterative design and feedback: Constant iteration and feedback from both children and educators helped us refine and improve the game. By actively seeking input and adjusting the gameplay based on their responses, we ensured that "Brush It Off" effectively delivered its educational objectives.
