As a game designer, I unleashed my creative powers to shape the very essence of our game. From conceptualizing thrilling gameplay and character abilities to crafting intricate levels, I left no stone unturned. But my journey didn't end there. Armed with determination, I ventured into the realm of Unity, mastering it from scratch to breathe life into our mesmerizing game world by working on environment design and level design. And when it came to the look and feel of our creation, I conjured up a HUD and UI/UX that perfectly captured the gritty and atmospheric vibes, making players feel like true survivors in our virtual wasteland.

Learning Outtakes:
Throughout the development of Aftermath - The Wasteland, our team experienced valuable learning moments that expanded our skills and understanding of game design. Here are some of the key takeaways:
Flexibility and Adaptability: Our initial concept of an MMORPG was ambitious but not feasible within the given time frame. We learned the importance of adapting our ideas to fit the project constraints while still retaining the core elements that excited us.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Working in a multidisciplinary team of game designers and programmers allowed me to leverage each other's strengths and tackle complex challenges. Clear communication and division of tasks ensured a smooth workflow.
Iterative Design Process: As we progressed through the development stages, I constantly iterated on our ideas and incorporated feedback from playtesting. This iterative approach helped us refine gameplay mechanics, balance the game, and improve the overall player experience.
User-Centric Design: We prioritized the player's journey and aimed to create an intuitive and immersive experience. Through playtesting and feedback collection, we identified pain points and made adjustments to enhance the game's usability and enjoyment.
Aesthetic and UI Design: Creating a cohesive and visually appealing game world was a significant aspect of our design process. I learned to utilize tools like Unity and Photoshop to design the HUD, UI elements, and overall visual style that aligned with the game's post-apocalyptic theme.
